Laurenne Kredentser Memorial Award (CDIS)

The Laurenne Kredentser Memorial Award recognizes a student's volunteer work and contribution to the community at large, while encouraging the award winner's onging studies and facilitate future contributions to the mental health community. It will be awarded annually to incoming and current students enrolled the MA and PhD program in Critical Disability Studies.

Applicants must demonstrate financial need (through the Student Financial Profile), be in good academic standing and submit a one-page statement outlining:

a) how mental health has touched their lives;
b) their volunteer activities;
c) their plans to contribute to the mental health community

Submission of a recommendation letter from an community or volunteer organization is required.
