The Wellness Lounge: Wellness Ambassador Application Form for F/W 2024-2025

The Health and Wellness Program at Calumet & Stong Colleges supports activities including hands-on workshops and themed events addressing the Body, Mind and Heart Tree Model for Health: (Nutritional, physical, sexual, financial, academic, etc.).

The program also supports The Wellness Lounge in Calumet College 129, where students have an opportunity to recharge, refresh, engage in wellness activities, and connect with peers.

Role Description:
Wellness Lounge Ambassador responsibilities include but are not limited to signing in and signing out students, ensuring the cleanliness of the Wellness Lounge, developing Wellness activities, leading these activities, as well as checking and updating the inventory of supplies. Wellness Ambassadors will address student queries and make sure they are directed to the appropriate resources on campus. This is the perfect opportunity for students interested in getting involved in their college community and developing key professional skills.

Requirements:
- Ability to commit a minimum of 2-3 hours per week
- To have completed or will complete FPLT (Foundational Peer Leadership Training)

- Strong interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication and organization skills
- Ability to follow instructions
- Ability to lift 20lbs and more
- Prior customer service experience is an asset but not required

Other Responsibilities Include:
- Designing and organizing social media content
- Supporting weekly events
- Curating research and data on wellbeing topics
- Attending events

Who is eligible?: All HH undergraduate students, graduate students, and all HH alum.

Experience: No prior experience is necessary.
