Welcome to York University and Calumet College! As a new student in Psychology (PSYC) we are excited to welcome you to the mandatory winter 2025 Academic Orientation. The goal of Orientation is to help you build skills and access tools to be successful in your academic career. Starting on Friday, January 3rd, 2025 and throughout the Winter term we will be offering Orientation & Transition events to help you create a sense of belonging by meeting staff, faculty, alumni, and students and giving you an opportunity to experience our Student Success programming and the opportunities available to you to be a successful student. Our first Orientation event will be on Friday, January 3rd, 2025 and you will learn more about Calumet College, services available to you, the Calumet College Council, and student clubs, and you will have an opportunity to ask any questions you may have, and meet your peers who are also starting their academic journeys. We have specifically picked a time and virtual format for the event to make this first event accessible to all students and it is mandatory. We strongly encourage you to attend Orientation & Transition events throughout the Winter term and explore our Student Success programming. We offer a variety of programming on different topics and areas to support you as you start at York University. Below you can tell us your preferred times and formats for events and based on your questions and areas of interest we will create additional events throughout the Winter term for you.
